Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication and learning needs in a dynamic school-based setting near Centreville, MD. Make a meaningful impact by providing expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist, helping children succeed academically and socially.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Prior experience delivering speech services to school-aged children is highly valued Strong knowledge of IEP development and special education procedures Ability to collaborate efficiently with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans based on student needs Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, tailored to student goals Contribute to IEP meetings and offer input on speech and communication objectives Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district guidelines Consult with teachers and families to support carryover of strategies in the classroom and home environments Participate in professional development and school-related activities as needed This contract position offers the chance to make a vital difference in students' lives while collaborating with dedicated education professionals.
