Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting students across two dynamic school districts near Clinton, MT! This contract position is tailored for a Certified Special Education Teacher ready to make a meaningful difference during the 2026-2027 school year. You'll enjoy a balanced four-day workweek, spending three days at one district and one day at another. If you thrive on collaboration and have a passion for inclusive education, this flexible assignment is an ideal way to expand your expertise in varied educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Special Education Experience working with K-12 students with diverse abilities Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel between districts as scheduled Enthusiastic team player, passionate about fostering student growth Commitment to the full academic year, from August 21, 2026, to mid-June 2027
What You'll Do:
Deliver targeted instruction and support to students with special needs across both districts Develop, adapt, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Engage regularly with staff, families, and related service providers to ensure student success Implement individualized and evidence-based strategies in both classroom and resource settings Participate in team meetings, student evaluations, and district-wide initiatives Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment where every student's potential is valued This role is open to local candidates as well as traveling educators seeking a collaborative, community-focused experience.
