Job Description

Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement Experience working with students identified under IDEA across a range of disabilities Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and goal-setting Effective communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt instructional methods for diverse learning needs Ability to manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, inclusive environment Familiarity with differentiated and evidence-based instructional strategies
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student requirements Deliver engaging instruction that aligns with both curriculum standards and students' unique learning styles Assess academic and behavioral progress, providing regular reporting and feedback Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and administrative staff Communicate proactively with families to support student success Participate in team meetings and professional development to remain current in best practices Advocate for student needs within the school community Join a supportive setting where every day presents an opportunity to change lives.
