Aug 31, 2026 Job Description The position is part of the district's Skills program, which serves students who benefit from ABA methodologies. As such, experience with ABA is preferred.Position Responsibilities:
Teach students specific skills and strategies to help them access curriculum Conduct IEP meetings and complete all related paperwork in a timely fashion Monitor student progress; revise IEP according to progress Co-teach in regular education content area, or teach substantially separate subject Prepare students for transition to post-high school life Communicate with school personnel outside of the department Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholdersJob Qualifications:
Attendance at departmental and school-wide meetings Requisite licensure as defined by the DESE and SEI Endorsement Experience implementing all parts of the IEP process Excellent oral and written communication skills A strong commitment to helping a wide variety of culturally diverse students achieve their full potential Ability to support the development of culturally responsive programs and activities that promote student engagement, family engagement, community involvement and a positive school climatePHYSICAL DEMANDS
