Job Description

Discover a more connected career At ​Ervin Cable Construction, LLC, as a Permitting Specialist, you'll oversee permit applications, liaise with agencies, and ensure compliance with permitting requirements. What you'll do Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal permitting requirements. Prepare, review, and submit permit applications to regulatory agencies. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and construction, to gather necessary permitting documentation. Maintain relationships with permitting agencies to facilitate smooth approvals. Provide guidance to project teams on regulatory requirements and best practices. Track multiple permits and proactively address potential delays. Research and analyze permitting trends and regulatory changes affecting the industry. Assist in responding to permit-related inquiries from government agencies or stakeholders. Support audits and internal compliance checks related to permits. Identify process improvements for faster and more efficient permitting workflows. What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience, formal trade, or technical skills training Authorization to work in the United States for this company High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or up to two years of basic understanding of permitting processes Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred Physical abilities & exposures
