Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing speech-language services in an educational environment. An immediate full-time opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, working as an SLP supporting both elementary and middle school students. This contract position near Dixon, MO is ideal for professionals who thrive in diverse, vibrant school settings.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an
SLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desired Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students with varying needs
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy and intervention to students with speech and language disorders Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success Split time between an elementary school and a middle school, adapting services to meet unique developmental needs Maintain accurate records, document sessions, and participate in team meetings Advocate for students and provide training to staff as needed Enjoy full-time hours with a choice of schedules: 8:00 AM-3:45 PM or 7:00 AM-2:45 PM, starting August 24th.
