Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This part-time role, offering 10-15 hours per week, is situated conveniently near Fort Meade, FL, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in a school-based setting while enjoying a flexible work schedule. We're seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about fostering early communication skills and partnering closely with educators and families. Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active state licensure, or eligibility for licensure, to practice as an SLP Experience with school-aged children and familiarity with IEP processes preferred Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to PreK students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with student IEPs Collaborate with classroom teachers, other support staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reporting Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations Why consider this role?
