Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language services to students in grades PK-8 with a range of speech and language needs. This full-time position starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference while enhancing your clinical skills. You'll collaborate with educators and support staff to deliver targeted interventions to a diverse caseload, helping each student achieve their communication goals in a supportive environment.
Qualifications or Experience:
Valid SLP-CCC, active IL licensure, or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs); supportive environment for the right candidate Experience with school-aged children is a plus Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage a caseload with mixed speech and language severity Enthusiasm for working as part of a collaborative educational team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to PK-8 students Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success Attend meetings and participate in IEP development as appropriate Adapt interventions for a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students If you are searching for a full-time contract position where your expertise will be valued and where you can make a genuine impact, this could be your next role.
