Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing quality speech and language services in a supportive school setting near Orland Park, IL. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll use your expertise to assess, diagnose, and implement intervention plans, directly impacting students' academic success and overall communication.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license in the state Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to identify speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct therapy and intervention tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student objectives Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and IEP meetings Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to a positive learning community Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field Enjoy a flexible contract arrangement that allows you to balance your professional and personal goals while making a lasting impact.
