Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based environment where your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a daily impact on students' growth and success. As a valued professional within this supportive community, you'll provide specialized speech and language services designed to help learners communicate confidently and thrive in educational settings. This contract role offers the unique opportunity to work collaboratively with dedicated educators and family members, shaping individualized strategies for each student.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates also welcomed Previous experience delivering services in a school setting highly desirable Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Deliver direct therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote carryover of skills and provide support Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school policies Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development This contract opportunity provides flexibility and the chance to make a measurable difference in the lives of school-aged children.
