Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near South Haven, MI. This role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking either their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or those already holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). As a valued addition to the school's team, you'll make an enduring difference in the lives of students, with the potential for contract renewal for committed and effective professionals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Open to both SLP-CFY candidates and those with
ASHA CCC
Experience in a school-based setting is preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Dedication to fostering student growth and development
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across various grade levels Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Maintain accurate documentation and report student progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and help craft educational plans Provide guidance and support to students, families, and school staff regarding speech and language development This contract position provides the opportunity for renewal, allowing dedicated professionals to continue making a positive impact year after year.
