Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding opportunity in the Colorado Springs area for the 2026-27 school year, providing vital speech and language services to students across mostly elementary caseloads. Four full-time positions are available for professionals ready to work in a contract-to-hire capacity and make a measurable difference from August 3rd onward. The primary focus will be on serving students at the elementary level, with a manageable caseload of around 50. Openings at other grade levels may also become available, and there's potential for future roles supporting SLPAs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state license (or eligibility) for Colorado Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Experience in school-based settings or working with elementary-aged children preferred Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, with potential openings for additional grade levels Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals Conduct evaluations, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement Serve as a key resource for best speech-language practices in the school community Discover the chance to grow your professional future in a supportive school environment, with the added advantage of potentially moving into a permanent position after your contract period.
