Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting summer opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a positive impact. This contract role is perfect for someone eager to support students in a school setting and help them reach their communication goals during the Extended School Year (ESY) session.
Key Dates & Schedule:
Availability required for May 27 and June 1-25, 2026 Onsite position with hours from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM Workdays are Monday through Thursday, offering long weekends throughout the assignment
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEP goals, implementation, and documentation processes Ability to independently manage caseloads and adapt to student needs within a self-contained environment Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech therapy services to ESY students, ensuring all IEP minutes are met Develop personalized schedules and plan all sessions to address specific student needs Maintain accurate, thorough records of progress and document in compliance with school and state requirements Collaborate with educational teams to provide holistic support and maximize student learning Adjust strategies and materials as necessary to optimize student engagement and outcomes This is a fantastic chance to enjoy a steady, part-time summer schedule, build experience in a supportive educational environment, and make a difference for learners who need it most.
