Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of young learners as a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist in a diverse school setting. This is a full-time, in-person contract opportunity supporting students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. You'll work closely with a supportive team and use your expertise to foster student growth in communication and language development.
Key Qualifications:
Valid California SLP license (current and in good standing) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Several years of school-based SLP experience strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to manage a dynamic caseload spanning preK through 8th grade Excellent communication skills, collaborative approach, and creative problem-solving Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and helping them succeed
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school environment Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning Provide both individual and group therapy sessions for a varied student population This position offers the chance to utilize your SLP skills where they matter most—helping children reach their fullest potential.
