Job Description

About the RoleThe Tomorrow Center is seeking a PartTime SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) to join our collaborative pediatric therapy team. The SLP will provide playbased, evidenceinformed speech and language therapy services to children and adolescents (approximately ages 3-19) in a supportive, sensoryfriendly outpatient clinic.

At The Tomorrow Center, the SLP plays a deeply relational role in helping autistic children and teens communicate in ways that feel authentic, empowering, and joyful. We are looking for an SLP who can blend evidence-based practice with creativity, compassion, and respect for each learners unique communication style. This role is rooted in partnershipwith families, with our multidisciplinary team, and most importantly, with each child.

ResponsibilitiesConduct strengths-based speech, language, communication, and feeding evaluations, reevaluations, and treatment sessionsDevelop individualized, functional communication plans that honor each childs sensory, emotional, and developmental profileProvide play-based, neurodiversity-affirming therapy across spoken language, AAC, gestural communication, and social interactionLead AAC assessment, device trials, and ongoing coaching for children, families, and staffSupport S2C, typing, and other alternative strategies to increase language for non-speakersCollaborate closely with ABA, OT, educators, and creative arts staff to ensure communication supports are consistent across school, therapy, and homeDocument progress with clarity, warmth, and family-friendly languagePartner with parents and caregivers through coaching, modeling, and accessible communication strategiesParticipate in team meetings, professional development, and the co-creation of a compassion-centered, inclusive cultureComply with all ethical, professional, and HIPAA standards
QualificationsRequired:
Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited programCurrent Georgia SLP licensure and
ASHA CCC-SLP
(or eligibility for CFY with strong pediatric experience) Experience supporting autistic children and teens, including AAC users Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and strengths-based practice Pediatric outpatient experience and passion for working with children and familiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills Collaborative spirit, creativity, and a heart for building a community where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated
Preferred:
