Job Description
KBS Academy is a private school setting that is looking for an SLP to start with us for the '26-'27 school year.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings as needed Develop and implement individualized therapy goals Collaborate with teachers, behavior consultants, related service providers, and families Support students with functional communication, social communication, receptive/expressive language, articulation, and pragmatic language needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to present levels, goals, progress updates, and recommendations Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress monitoring data Support communication programming across the school setting Provide consultation and strategies to classroom teams to promote carryover of skillsIdeal Candidate Will Have:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility Experience working with students with autism, emotional support needs, AAC, and/or complex communication needs preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills A compassionate, student-centered approach Ability to work as part of a supportive team environment Why Join KBS Academy?
