Part-time, Full-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication disorders You will work closely with pediatric patients in an office setting. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in need. There is also an opportunity available for management and partnership in owning the businessDuties:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language abilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge in daily practice
- Participate in case management meetings to discuss patient progress and goals
Experience:
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
Skills:
- Strong patient care skills, with the ability to provide compassionate and effective therapy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to speech pathology
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
