Job Description

Welcome! Ready, Set, Play Speech Therapy is seeking a passionate, playful, creative, organized, and authentic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team working with the pediatric population. We serve clients in Newton and surrounding communities, including Needham, Wellesley, Cambridge, Brookline, and neighboring towns. This position primarily involves providing in-home therapy services, with occasional school-based and/or community-based sessions. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves the work they do, brings knowledge, enthusiasm, and compassion into their client relationships, and is committed to providing high-quality, meaningful, and strengths-based care while helping build an inclusive and supportive community. At this time, part-time availability is available based on client needs and scheduling, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload over time. Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations and write evaluation reports Provide individualized, empowering, and strengths-based therapy sessions Develop and implement goal-based treatment plans Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Provide education, strategies, and resources to families Complete daily SOAP notes and maintain timely documentation Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience working with the pediatric population Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to travel to client homes within the service area We encourage you to apply so we can connect, collaborate, and continue empowering the children and families we serve!
