Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week | 7-Week Contract Support Student Success Through Communication We're seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team. In this role, you'll work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students build essential communication skills and succeed in the classroom. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment. What You'll Do As an SLPA, you will support the Speech-Language Pathologist by: Assisting with the implementation of speech and language therapy plans Supporting student evaluations and documentation Providing direct services to students under supervision Tracking progress and maintaining accurate records Assisting with therapy activities and classroom-based interventions Collaborating with the SLP and school staff to support student outcomes Position Highlights Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week Short-term 7-week assignment Structured support and supervision from a licensed SLP Great opportunity to build experience in a school-based setting Work directly with students to support communication development What You'll Need Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Completion of 100+ hours of supervised fieldwork (or equivalent) Active SLPA license or certification in the state of practice At least 1 year of experience preferred Strong understanding of professional standards and scope of practice Ability to meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements Required health clearances (TB, etc.) Must be 18 years or older Compensation ??Competitive pay:
