Key Responsibilities Assessment & Planning:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, and communication disorders.

Therapeutic Intervention:

Deliver high-quality therapeutic services to enhance residents' communication and swallowing (dysphagia) abilities.

Clinical Documentation:

Monitor, document, and analyze patient progress; adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

Work closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to provide holistic, resident-centered care.

Family Education:

Educate residents and their families on communication strategies, home exercises, and adaptive techniques.

Qualifications Licensure:

Current, valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead patient care and collaborate with staff.

Experience:

Clinical experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting is a plus, but enthusiastic new graduates are highly encouraged to apply!
