Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract A school district in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to complete your Clinical Fellowship in a supportive K-12 environment with strong supervision and mentorship. Position Overview Full-time, Monday-Friday (35-40 hours/week) Onsite role serving K-12 students (placement based on district need) Supervision provided by a licensed SLP to support CF completion Full school year contract with potential for renewal Caseload Details Average caseload: 40-60 students (varies by building) Students with mild to moderate communication needs across settings Areas of service include: Articulation & phonological disorders Receptive/expressive language delays Social/pragmatic communication needs Fluency and voice disorders Possible exposure to: Autism spectrum disorders AAC/assistive technology users Early childhood and transition-age students
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations Develop and implement IEP goals Provide direct therapy (individual and small group) Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain documentation and compliance Pennsylvania State Requirements (SLP-CF) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Eligibility for Educational Specialist Certificate (Instructional I) through the Pennsylvania Department of Education Temporary/Clinical Fellowship licensure through the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship experience Required clearances: FBI Fingerprinting PA Child Abuse Clearance PA Criminal History Check What We're Looking For Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for working with school-aged children Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to completing Clinical Fellowship requirements Why This Role?
