Open Until Filled About the Organization The Children's Specialty Clinic of the San Luis Valley (CSCSLV) is a nonprofit, led by a pediatrician and supported by volunteer board members including parents, specialists, and community advocates, with a mission to create a unique, multidisciplinary clinic that brings specialty care to children with complex medical and behavioral needs in the San Luis Valley. About the Position The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides high-quality speech, language, and communication services to children and adolescents in the San Luis Valley. This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about supporting children's communication development and participation in learning, social interaction, and daily life. The SLP collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care tailored to the needs of children and families in our community. What You'll DO Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Provide direct therapy for articulation, language, social communication, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing, adapting interventions to each child's needs. Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust goals as needed.

Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support therapy carryover and coordinated care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and professional standards. Stay current with best practices and support clinic operations to ensure a family-centered, organized environment. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Certified Speech Language Pathologists Assistants (SLPAs). What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program. Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the relevant state. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain. Experience working with children and/or adolescents in a clinical, school-based, or pediatric setting.

Knowledge of speech, language, and communication development across childhood. Ability to deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention for speech, language, and communication disorders. Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience or specialized training in pediatric speech and language disorders (e.g., articulation/phonology, language delays, AAC, fluency, voice). Experience with early intervention and/or school-based service delivery. Knowledge of culturally and linguistically responsive assessment and treatment practices. Bilingual or multilingual skills.
