Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on improving communication skills. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques across diverse pediatric populations, including those requiring early intervention services. Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy strategies to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate closely with families, educators, and healthcare providers to support patient care and facilitate consistent communication strategies. Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with professional standards. Educate patients' families about speech development milestones, exercises, and strategies for ongoing support at home. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior experience working with pediatric populations in hospital settings or clinical environments is highly desirable. Evening or weekend hours required Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and the application of evidence-based speech therapy interventions.
