Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic educational environment near Williamsport, MD! This contract-to-hire position welcomes both full-time and part-time Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of K-12 learners. You will collaborate closely with educational teams to provide effective speech and language services, empowering students to achieve their academic and social goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Maryland ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-12 caseloads Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, diverse educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families Participate in IEP meetings and provide accurate progress reports Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups Advise school staff and families on strategies and accommodations to support student success Maintain detailed and compliant documentation for all services provided
