Welder Production - Basket Fabricator - 1st Shift

Eaton's IS Filtration division is currently seeking a Welder Production

• Basket Fabricator
• 1st Shift.

The core hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

• Read and interpret prints, charts, work orders and other documents used in the manufacture of strainer baskets
• Accurately use measurement and cutting equipment such as tape measures calipers, hand shears, table shear, drill press, cut off tools, grinders, engraver and inductive spot welding machines
• Use roll forming equipment and perform simple assembly of metal components
• Assist with cycle counting of inventory and annual physical inventory as needed All manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for:
• Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards
• Complying with all work and process instructions
• Identifying improvement opportunities
• Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job
• Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required)

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• A minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment

• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Williamsport, MD (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Metal fabrication experience
• Basic computer and software skills
