Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into the rewarding field of school-based speech-language pathology and make a meaningful impact on young learners for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting communication development in early childhood and elementary-aged students. You'll provide essential speech and language services within a vibrant and collaborative educational setting, working with PreK through 5th-grade students. The role offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, starting August 22, 2026, and concluding June 6, 2027. Whether you're a seasoned SLP with your CCC or a Clinical Fellow (CFY) eager to launch your career in a nurturing school environment, your expertise will be highly valued.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current CFY status Previous experience with school-aged populations or strong interest in working within schools Knowledge of evidence-based practices for speech-language interventions with younger children Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
