Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist through an onsite, full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year. This dynamic opportunity involves providing vital speech and language services directly within a supportive school environment near Wesson, MS. You'll have the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and work with a diverse student population eager to reach their communication goals. Whether you hold your ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your expertise will have a profound impact.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist CCC-SLP or CFY accepted Prior school-based experience is highly valued Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary and middle school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy and consultative services in-person Work alongside teachers, families, and other staff to support each student's needs Maintain accurate documentation and progress records Attend IEP and team meetings as required
