Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding summer contract opportunity as a speech-language pathologist supporting students in a positive, collaborative educational environment. With service dates from May 27th and June 1-25, 2026, you'll work onsite, making a genuine difference for ESY students in a self-contained setting. The schedule offers a focused workday, Monday through Thursday, from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM—allowing for meaningful professional impact while preserving your work-life balance. Bring your skills and passion for helping students build communication abilities during this crucial time. Your responsibilities will emphasize hands-on collaboration and creativity in supporting individualized student needs.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Illinois SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP compliance and documentation Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills Ability to work independently and develop tailored therapy schedules
Main Responsibilities:
Deliver IEP-mandated speech-language services to students in ESY, focusing on individualized goals Develop and manage a therapy schedule to efficiently serve all assigned students Plan engaging, targeted instruction aligned with each student's unique needs Collaborate closely with educators and families for cohesive student support Maintain timely and accurate progress notes and reports
