Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Join an educational team in Hickory, MS, seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students' communication development within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed Provide speech therapy services both in individual and group settings Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working in school environments with children of varying ages Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary school team
