Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vibrant educational environment and play a vital role in supporting student success as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This rewarding contract opportunity begins in August 2026 and runs through May 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact onsite in a collaborative school setting throughout the academic year. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, providing flexibility to fit your lifestyle.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain, as required by Alabama regulations) Previous experience working in school settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Passion for fostering student growth and engagement
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, individually and in group settings Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Partner with teachers, families, and staff to support students' academic and social development Maintain timely records and progress notes per state and district requirements Contribute to IEP meetings and other collaborative planning sessions
