Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 academic year. This in-person contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with PreK through 8th-grade learners, fostering communication growth and academic success across a diverse caseload. With a flexible 16-24 hours per week schedule, you will collaborate with educators and families to deliver high-quality speech and language services in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) state license Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school-based SLP settings preferred Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Experience or interest in working with PreK-8th grade populations
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for students with speech and language needs Develop treatment plans and document progress in compliance with school and state regulations Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and participation Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear recommendations and insights Foster an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
