Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A new opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) seeking contract roles in educational settings for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a candidate interest request for those that wish to be considered for positions in the upcoming school year. On-site professionals passionate about making a difference with students will be highly valued.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (please note: screenshot required for application) Previous school-based experience as an SLP or SLPA Ability to work on-site throughout the contract Reliable transportation required Bilingual proficiency highly desirable for certain roles Willingness to complete and cover the cost of HISD fingerprinting within first three days of contractKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs or intervention plans Collaborate with school multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents to develop student goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions and student progress Perform assessments and create individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population Participate in ARD meetings, team planning, and ongoing professional development This is a great opportunity to make an impact during the 2026-2027 school year in a dynamic educational environment.
