Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment on a long-term substitute assignment. From August through December, you will provide full-time support, helping students enhance their communication abilities and succeed in their academic journey. This contract role offers a consistent weekly schedule, totaling 37.5 hours, perfect for professionals seeking a meaningful experience in educational therapy.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP-CCC certification Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility Prior experience with school-aged children preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Flexibility and adaptability within an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students as indicated in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and maintain thorough documentation Serve as a collaborative partner on IEP teams and provide consultation to teachers, aides, and parents Employ evidence-based strategies to address student needs in areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and social communication Participate in relevant meetings, professional development, and outreach as required Help students build confidence and achieve communicative independence in classroom activities This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in speech-language pathology while making a difference in students' lives.
