Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Elevate your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting school-aged students in a contract role near Meadow Valley, CA. This opportunity lets you make a meaningful impact by empowering students to reach their communication goals while collaborating with dedicated educators and professionals in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students with a variety of speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluation results Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student's unique needs Meticulously document progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, student-centered care Educate and involve families to maximize therapy effectiveness and carryover Contribute expertise during meetings, consultations, and IEP planning as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active or eligible state license in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations highly valued Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to balance independent caseload management with collaborative teamwork To be considered, you must have a current, state board-approved SLP license and a Master's degree or higher in the field.
