Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary-aged students. This role focuses on supporting K-6 learners—primarily speech-only caseloads—with a portion presenting dual diagnoses. The commitment is two days per week (ideally Tuesday and Thursday), from 8 AM to 3:30 PM. Instructional periods run from 8:30 AM to 3 PM, offering you a balanced and predictable schedule. You will make a significant impact on 25-30 students, delivering evidence-based interventions that promote confidence and communication skills both individually and in groups. Your expertise will ensure students receive tailored therapy, supporting not only speech and language needs but also growth in executive functioning, social learning, and selective mutism.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Current Pennsylvania state license for SLPs Fluency in both English and Spanish strongly preferred Prior school-based SLP experience, especially with K-6 populations Familiarity with executive functioning, social learning, and selective mutism interventions Proficiency with IEPWriter and Synergy is a plus
