Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting where your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist are valued and make a daily impact. This contract position offers the chance to support students' communication and social needs, helping them reach academic and personal milestones.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with school-aged children, including IEP development and implementation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Familiarity with a variety of assessment and therapy approaches tailored to diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students' unique goals and needs Provide direct speech and language therapy services in both individual and group settings Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive student development Maintain detailed records, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as necessary Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning Consult with teachers and families to provide practical strategies for supporting communication beyond therapy sessions This is a rewarding opportunity to advance your professional growth while fostering positive outcomes for students in a supportive school community.
