Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist. Serving a setting close to North Collins, NY, this role is focused on enriching young learners' communication skills from July 6th through August 14th. Enjoy predictable hours—27.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 2:15pm—providing a work-life balance that fits your summer plans. Candidates with strong backgrounds in school-based speech therapy, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders, are encouraged to apply. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
NY State Speech Language Pathologist license required Experience with elementary-aged caseloads highly preferred SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates welcomed Knowledge of school speech therapy practices and documentation Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students in a school environment Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to achieve student goals Track progress and maintain accurate records as required by school policies Participate in team meetings and support a positive, nurturing learning atmosphere
