Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' communication and academic success in a dynamic educational environment near Sioux Falls, SD. Two full-time contract positions are now available for skilled, dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC certification. You will work closely with elementary-age children across one or possibly two locations, providing comprehensive speech and language support to help students thrive.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working in a school setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt interventions for varying developmental and academic needs Commitment to cultural competency and student-centered practice
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with educators, parents, and related service professionals Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Provide direct and consultative services across classroom and one-on-one settings Support positive student outcomes by fostering engagement and building rapport
