Job Description

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience working in a school setting highly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans Aptitude for supporting students with a wide range of speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in PreK-12 students Develop and document individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to promote student progress Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for classroom adaptations Monitor, evaluate, and report on student progress Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations as well as district policies Contribute actively to a positive and respectful learning environment This opportunity offers you the chance to build invaluable experience in school-based speech therapy while making a lasting impact on young learners.
