Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, school-based contract role involves working with a diverse caseload of students, supporting their communication development, and collaborating with passionate education professionals. You'll play a key role helping children overcome communication challenges that impact their academic success while enjoying a supportive and collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough speech-language evaluations and individualized student assessments Create, implement, and monitor customized treatment plans and IEP goals Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs Accurately maintain documentation—including progress updates and compliance records Consult with teachers, administrators, occupational therapists, psychologists, and families Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Provide recommendations to optimize student success and make a difference in classroom experiences Continuously monitor and adjust intervention strategies to maximize student progress
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Georgia licensure or applicable educator certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; Clinical Fellows with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply Prior school-based experience preferred, but strong pediatric or similar backgrounds are encouraged Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities This opportunity offers a dynamic schedule within a collaborative school environment, as well as a competitive compensation package.
