Job Description
Join our team of compassionate therapists making a difference in the lives of seniors! Pinewood Nursing Center is currently seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team. As a PRN therapist, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling while helping patients regain their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities in a supportive skilled nursing environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians. Document evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies.Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active Georgia state SLP license (or eligibility). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY considered. Prior SNF or geriatric experience is a plus. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.What We Offer:
