Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a dynamic contract assignment. This opportunity begins the last week of August and continues through early June, aligning perfectly with the academic year. You'll enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week over 185 school days, and have the chance to work across multiple buildings—ensuring every day brings new and meaningful experiences. In this position, you'll join a collaborative educational team, providing direct therapy to a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students ranging from kindergarten through high school. Your guidance and intervention as an SLPA will make a lasting impact, helping young learners build vital communication and language skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-12 Ability to adapt to different school settings and collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and staff Strong organizational and communication skills Reliable and professional work ethic
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language support services as directed by supervising SLPs Track student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school requirements Support IEP goals and participate in team meetings as needed Adapt activities and materials for students' individual needs Communicate regularly with educators and caregivers to foster student success Perks of the
