Job Summary Job Summary Tulare City School District is now accepting applications for the position of:
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT
(SLPA) to start in the 26/27 school year. The work year for this position is 185 days, 7 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Salary Range $30.24 - $37.13 per hour plus applicable fringe benefits. Under the supervision of the Speech Language Therapist (SLP), the SLPA will carry out treatment plans by providing direct therapy, assisting with assessments/screenings, and assisting with clerical duties to support the SLP. This position reports to the Director of Special Education and Psychological Services. This is a roving position. Drives a vehicle to conduct work.   • Current Speech Language Pathology Assistant Certification. (Must maintain SLPA certification throughout employment.)
  • Proof of high school graduation (high school diploma, high school transcripts, GED, or higher degree).
  • Valid California Driver's License.
