Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant school environment near Richmond, TX. This vital role begins on July 30, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour work week at a competitive rate of $64.00 per hour. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference each day, collaborating with a dedicated team and providing key support to students' communication development. Ideal candidates bring genuine enthusiasm for helping children thrive alongside their clinical SLPA skill set and school experience. Qualifications & Preferred Background:
Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus. Solid communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork. Familiarity with IEP documentation and supporting therapy plans. Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy as outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs. Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to maximize student progress. Collect data, document sessions, and assist with IEP reporting and preparation.
