Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding onsite, itinerant opportunity supporting students and school professionals as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This contract role is designed for those passionate about making a difference in educational settings, particularly for individuals who bring knowledge and energy to student support. This position offers the chance to gain hands-on, school-based experience while supporting a remote supervising SLP. It's an ideal fit if you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy the variety of working across multiple locations. Mileage reimbursement ensures your travel within the assignment is taken care of, allowing you to focus on providing the best possible support to students.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering direct and indirect speech/language therapy services under the guidance of a remote SLP Collaborating with educational teams to promote students' communication success Supporting the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Traveling between school locations as part of an itinerant schedule Maintaining accurate records of sessions and student progress Communicating effectively with staff, students, and families The ideal candidate will have: Experience in school-based settings as an SLPA Up-to-date SLPA licensure Comfort working with a remote supervising SLP Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexibility and adaptability for traveling between sites Dedication to student-centered, inclusive practices In addition to a fulfilling, collaborative work environment, you'll benefit from mileage reimbursement for all work travel.
