Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026/2027 school year. This position is perfect for a bilingual professional passionate about making a difference in school settings. You'll work collaboratively with educators and licensed specialists to help students thrive in their communication skills.
Qualifications:
Active SLPA license and credentials required Proven experience or coursework in school-based SLP support Bilingual proficiency is a necessity for this role Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Familiarity with IEP goals, documentation, and special education protocols preferred Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based speech and language intervention strategies Ability to adapt services to diverse student needs and cultural backgrounds
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Deliver interventions and facilitate activities aligned with students' IEPs Assist with assessments, data collection, and progress monitoring Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support generalization of communication skills in classroom environments Maintain accurate records, session notes, and required documentation Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed This full-time school-based contract offers a chance to engage with a vibrant community, making meaningful contributions every day during the 2026/2027 school year.
