Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role supporting students' communication development at a welcoming ESY summer program near Clymer, PA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality, in-person speech therapy services to students requiring support written into their IEPs. This is a contract position that offers a highly flexible schedule—choose any one day per week, Monday through Thursday, throughout the ESY dates of June 8 to 11, 15 to 18, and 22 to 25. Each student will receive speech therapy three times during the ESY window, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with IEP mandates.
Key Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Recent experience in K-12 school settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy on-site from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, one day per week Deliver individualized therapy as specified in student IEPs Complete necessary progress notes and documentation in a timely manner Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to optimize outcomes Support students with varying diagnoses and needs You'll have the opportunity to shape student success in a supportive environment with a consistent, condensed work schedule that leaves plenty of room for personal pursuits or other professional opportunities.
