Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school-based environment near New Lenox, IL. You'll have a meaningful impact in the lives of children, working collaboratively with a team of education professionals dedicated to fostering student communication and academic growth.
Key Qualifications:
Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Illinois or eligibility to obtain ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs and collaborate with educational staff Dedication to maintaining detailed documentation and meeting IEP requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in individual and group settings Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and related service providers to maximize student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and federal educational guidelines Experience the satisfaction of watching students gain confidence and skills that will support their academic and social success.
