Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a fulfilling contract role supporting a diverse caseload from PreK to adult programs. This itinerant, onsite-only position offers part-time hours (27.5 per week), providing the flexibility to work with multiple age groups and school settings. You'll be instrumental in empowering students through direct therapy, evaluations, and ongoing assessments, all while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required Valid state SLP license (or eligibility) Previous experience in school-based or educational settings is highly desirable Strong evaluation, assessment, and report-writing skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, itinerant capacity Experience with PreK, K-12, and adult learners a plusKey Responsibilities:
Provide speech/language therapy to a varied caseload, including PreK, school-aged, and adult program students Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student progress Travel between school sites as needed to deliver services Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in multidisciplinary team settingsPerks and Benefits:
