Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity this summer as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students in a dynamic onsite environment. This position is essential for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, focused on helping students within a self-contained setting reach their communication goals. Your expertise will contribute to meaningful growth for every learner you serve. This assignment runs from May 27th and June 1-25, 2026, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM. The role is perfectly suited for those who value focused work hours and want to make a concentrated impact over the summer months.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience working in school-based settings, particularly with ESY or similar programs Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services to ESY students in self-contained classrooms Implement IEP goals and provide required minutes for each student Develop, organize, and maintain a clear schedule for instruction and therapy Plan engaging, individualized lessons that address each student's unique needs Maintain detailed records of progress, attendance, and compliance with IEPs Effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success This summer role offers the chance to experience a supportive school environment and help shape students' communication skills during a crucial period.
